---Graduated on May 1963 from the University of Puerto Rico
Elementary School.

---Graduated on May 1969 from the University of Puerto Rico
High School.

---B.A. (Social Science-Political Science) May 1974,
University of Puerto Rico.

---M.P.A. (Public Administration) June 1977, University of Puerto Rico
(grade average 3.76).

---Sept. 1977, admitted to the Department of Government Ph.D. program, of the Florida State University (Tallahassee, Florida).

---March 1979, all doctoral preliminary exams (four written and one oral) passed.

---May 1979: Accepted as Ph.D. candidate (Prospectus defense approved).

---August 1979:Recruited as Instructor at the University of Puerto Rico, Cayey Branch
(Social Science Department)

---November 1979: Evaluated by the Director of the Department, the Evaluation Committee, and by the Students. All evaluations were excellent.

---January 1980: Nominated as the Coordinator of the Political Science Area.

---June 1980: Publication of the article "Basque Country and Catalonia: The Struggling Peripheries of Spain, by Revista Cayey (a Journal of the Cayey Branch of the University of Puerto Rico).

---July 1984:Recruited as a Dental Office Administrator (part -time), and as a Building Administrator (part -time) (writing doctoral dissertation).

---August 1986:Recruited as a professor at a Catholic School (San Juan)

---December 1987: Doctoral Dissertation accepted and Oral Defense passed.
